getting late again??....viola!! i have a Bike.. after a 90 min. backbreaking journey, i realise i was the second person to enter that door(artzworks) today....not much fruit to see anyway...got a script from a nearby desk and, heads low, concentration high and for the next 6 hrs., i was preoccupied in reading up and finishing the movie base. still dunno about my whereabouts, my role as to what am i gonna do afterall. day ends with a full knowledge of the story, a 2 hr. long ride back to home and some costly expenditure on my bike.

day one at artsworks...11 jan 2010

The day began with me running helter skelter for getting ready to go to a place where my fate set me in...... "Artsworks" run by Mr. Sameer Chanda as its senior Art director, owner, under whom I am stationed for my graduation project(last semester at NIFT, mumbai). I already had prior discussions with my to-be industry mentor, Mr. Subhajyoti Datta (popularly known there as Subha Da) about what are the work criteria/ structure/ procedure followed there. his attitude gave me a very secure, warm feeling to which I admired him from the very first chat...

there was i, searching for the right building and I asked those guys standing nearby about the address without knowing that the person addressing me was my mentor himself..

entering the place, my welcome wagon consisted of happy singh and pogo (pomerian & labrador) passing whom I entered a room with a very soft, enthusiastic, rejuvenating feel. there, i met Mr. Amit Da, Mr. Subroto, Ms. Shraddha and Mr. Ajay with whom, a basic intro went on for half an hour or so. then came the actual part- to understand the work i came for, which Amit Da helped me understand a lot (at novice level). Shraddha gave me a little brief of her part in the upcoming project called (* ********) and this understanding went on for a while before my lunch break...Later, i read the scrpit till what i understand
